We've come a long way since 1997. We have transformed from a bunch
of mates having a laugh to one of the largest open-age, Charter Standard, football
Clubs in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Many current players will remember the early days when
we wore
those green and white kits on a bumpy, muddy pitch on Duncy Matheson
Playing Fields. Some will even remember a few occasions when we
had to stop in the
street on the way to games because we were short of players!
That's
a million miles away from where we are today.

We are now one of the first clubs in Salford and one of the select
few clubs in Greater Manchester to be awarded the prestigious
FA Charter Standard for Adult Clubs proving to everyone that the
FA has certified us as being a safe, friendly, well-organised
club. We now have four Saturday teams and an Under 21’s
team and the vast majority of our players play with 2 local Sunday
teams and 2 under 18 teams.
We are even one of the few Clubs in the Greater Manchester area
who can boast a ladies section!
All our teams play in identical
Royal blue, black and white kits with new Club t-shirts and jackets.
This ensures that we project the professional image we work so
hard to create throughout the Club.
Not
only that but we now play on what could arguably be the best pitches
in the City, we have won Titles, cups and awards galore…and
all thanks to The Management Committee, the players, the managers
and the combined efforts of everyone connected with the Club.
